Atamis is a dynamic and expanding software business located in Cardiff. We provide analysis and management tools to both the public and private sector in procurement software. We are growing rapidly, and our team is continuing to expand to support the growth of the company.
We are seeking an ambitious and hands on Head of Business Development to lead our business development efforts. This role is critical to our growth strategy, focusing on managing the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team and building a robust sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, strong leadership skills, a passion for driving business growth and a creative flair for lead generation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the SDR team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the SDR team.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients through various lead generation activities.
- Oversee the development and execution of cold outreach campaigns to prospective clients.
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth and market expansion.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and optimise lead generation campaigns.
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in target organisations.
- Represent Atamis at industry events and conferences to promote our solutions and expand our network.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities and outcomes for senior management.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in business development or sales within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven track record of building and managing successful business development functions through effective implementation and execution of appropriate strategy, processes and technology.
- Strong understanding of CRM software and sales pipeline management (Salesforce and HubSpot experience is advantageous).
- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
