Cardiff-Based Atamis to Launch ROI Calculator at 2025 CIPS Futures Conference

27 June 2025

News

Cardiff-based procurement software provider Atamis has announced its sponsorship of the 2025 CIPS Futures Conference, one of the most influential events in the procurement and supply chain calendar. The conference is set to take place on Tuesday, 1st July 2025, at the QEII Centre in London.

As part of its presence at the event, Atamis will unveil its newly developed ROI Calculator — an innovative tool designed to help organisations estimate the potential value of implementing the Atamis system. Delegates can explore the tool and connect with the Atamis team at Stand 1, located next to the sign-in desk.

Gareth Burch, Product Director at Atamis, will contribute to a key panel discussion titled “Supplier due diligence strategies for an evolving risk picture.” He will be joined by Chris McLellan from Admiral Insurance Group, a longstanding client of Atamis. The panel will examine how procurement professionals are being called upon to manage global economic and geopolitical risks while building more resilient supply chains.

“Procurement is entering a new chapter; moving beyond cost-silos to become truly strategic, with a broader organisational lens,” said Gareth Burch. “The technology to procure better is already here; success lies in getting stakeholder buy-in and uncovering where the real value is.”

Chris McLellan added: “In the insurance sector, supplier due diligence is not just best practice, it’s non-negotiable. Stakeholders expect us to ensure every link in the chain is compliant and resilient. We’re talking about mitigating credit, operational and reputational risk, and procurement has a central role to play.”

Atamis’ sponsorship and participation at the conference reflect the company’s commitment to supporting the strategic evolution of procurement functions across sectors. The team will also contribute to practical sessions aimed at helping professionals prepare for future challenges.

Based in Cardiff, Atamis delivers source-to-contract software solutions tailored to address client-specific procurement challenges across both the public and private sectors.

Delegates attending the conference are encouraged to visit Atamis at Stand 1 and discover the potential value their organisation could unlock with the new ROI Calculator.
