Atamis is founded
Atamis is founded by Nick James in Cardiff, initially providing spend analytics software for local government.
2010 – 2019
The plaform expands
The platform expands from spend analysis into a broader strategic sourcing solution.
2019-20
DHSC selects Atamis
DHSC selects Atamis to deliver a Single eCommercial System for the NHS Health Family.
Atamis delivers DHSC’s SRM solution two months early, helping strengthen supplier visibility during COVID-19.
2021
Atamis is acquired by Banyan Software
Atamis is acquired by Banyan Software, its first UK/European acquisition. Nick James steps down as CEO. New stage of growth begins.
2023
A new look for Atamis
Atamis launched a new brand and website to reflect our evolution into an end-to-end source-to-contract platform. Our strapline, “Powering Procurement”, captured our focus on helping procurement teams achieve more.
March 2026
National Policing E-Commercial Solution awarded to Atamis

April 2026
